Domaine Raphael Sallet Macon Uchizy Les Condemines Chard 750mlA lovely youthful Maconnaise Chardonnay to pair with roast chicken. Medium intensity on the nose and on the palate stone fruit, melon and perhaps something a little more tropical like candied pineapple. Dry but slightly honeyed feel. Unoaked and not complex but refreshing acidity, medium body and a nice mouthfeel, no harshness here,very harmonious. Shortish finish. Trying not to drink too much before the food is ready, its very moreish and enjoyable.
